Spring is in full blast, and with it, my mail box is under attack with multiple wedding invitations. My friends obviously seem to think a summer wedding is “the thing to do”, but no one considered asking me first, whether –I’m– ready for this summer’s craze? See, most of my friends know each other, which means I can’t show up to any two weddings wearing the exact same thing! Alas, buying a new classy dress twice a week is very expensive, although quite fun.
After much thinking, and a walk across my wardrobe, I came up with the perfect solution!
You might have figured it out yourself in the past, but I’m so excited about this mini enlightenment that I have to share it:
The key to summer style is accessories! I can show up with same dress twice, even with the same shoes, but changing my necklace or my handbag accessories makes all the difference in the world!
Well the first wedding is coming up this Friday. I just checked the forecast, and the hot weather calls for short sleeves and big cleavages — precisely the fitting opportunity to show off my new leather bracelet. And for next week’s wedding, I’m counting on this golden anklet to place me in the center of attention.
I’m always amazed how fashion dilemmas bring out so much creativity…
