The highly imaginative, film directing legend, Tim Burton is remaking “Alice in Wonderland” and guess who he has chosen to appear in the film? – His long time collaborator, Johnny Depp.
Burton’s plan was to, instead of shooting a straight adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s 1865 classic, re-imagine the author’s world, drawing from “Alice in Wonderland,” “Through the Looking Glass,” and even the poem “Jabberwocky.”
Disney first released the movie’s trailer a few months ago, and the public got their first taste of what the movie would be like. Alice, played by Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, is not a little girl but a 19-year old woman who is about to be betrothed. And Helena Bonham Carter who plays the Red Queen has a very large head. Johnny Depp, as the Mad Hatter, sports one of his weirdest looks to date.
The trailer went a long way to show how Burton envisioned Wonderland. This is his first film ever to use green screen and extensive digital effects, and the result is fantastic.
The film is to hit theatres on March 18, 2010.

Johnny Depp along with Brad, Elvis and some other moviestar shooting close and far is still by far the hottest man for more than one decade!
