Support Breast Cancer Research, Buy Cleavage Creek Wine

Continuing our little impromptu series on unique gift wines, here’s what I found today: Cleavage Creek Wines!

The owner, Budge Brown of Nevada, named it that lovely name because, as he says, “I got a creek running through the middle of two rounded hillsides. So, Cleavage Creek Wine. You know, it just really fit my ranch.” I couldn’t have said it any better myself.

Brown is no amateur at his trade. At 77, he owns several vineyards and three award winning wines. But it goes much farther than that. His Cleavage Creek Wines – each label has a beautiful woman on it, all smiles. And every woman featured on Cleavage Creek Wines is a breast cancer survivor.

Brown put survivors on the label because he wanted them to know “that they are beautiful and loved,” in his words. But he goes further. Each woman’s story is featured on the Cleavage Creek website, and 10% of his gross income goes to funding breast cancer research. He doesn’t donate 10% of profits, because those can go down. He just gives 10% gross.
Something of an interested party here, and there is certainly nothing wrong with that, Brown lost his wife to breast cancer four years ago. He took his grief and channeled it into this project.

And listen to this. Brown donated $40,000 Cleavage Creek dollars to launch an Integrative Oncology Research Clinic. Integrative means that it combines tradition and alternative methods.

He says that his late wife, Arlene, would be pleased with Cleavage Creek. I am, too. And you can buy some good Cleavage Wine at the Cleavage Wine Store.
