Here’s a good one for your friends and family. Instead of buying battery after battery and then throwing them out, you can get batteries basically for free. Rechargeable batteries, and you still have to pay for the electricity to charge them up.

Granted, it’s pretty cheap, but it isn’t free. So instead, get a solar powered battery charger, and just leave it outside for a few hours and have fully charged batteries! For free. God doesn’t charge for the sun. Neither does anyone else. If someone tries to charge you for the sun, you know he’s just trying to screw you over. Don’t do it.

The charger fits AA, AAA, C and D, with some other shapes called non-standard gum-shaped prismatic batteries. I have no idea what those are, but they sound rechargeable to me. The casing of the charger is weather resistant, so you won’t destroy it if you leave it out one day in the rain. The casing also has adjustable angling so you can point it at the sun as it moves throughout the day. Re-charging time varies depending on the strength of the sun on any given day and how discharged the batteries are.

You’ll basically never have to pay for running your battery powered electronics again.
