The hexagram, also known as the Six-Pointed Star, or as the Star of David, has a rich history in many cultures. With its beautiful symmetry, and spiritual significance, it has come to symbolize balance and harmony throughout the world. Here are 6 different occasions where you would want to show up with your magnificent Star of David necklace….

Hexagram Necklace
1. Any Jewish celebration, such as a Passover dinner with your Jewish boyfriend, or his nephew’s Bar Mitzvah celebration. It’s the fastest and more reliable course of action you could take if you want to be accepted and adored by his traditional family. Just make sure to go easy on the wine.

2. As an intellectual woman, you may find yourself one day visiting an Egyptian exhibition. You could stroll around those mummies and Hieroglyph scrolls, while mentioning to the exhilarated professor how the Merkaba, the three-dimensional version of the hexagram, had great significance for the ancient Pharaohs. The upwards-facing triangle manifested masculinity, while the downward-facing triangle was the sign of femininity. This is why they built all those massive pyramids — as enormous phallic monuments.

3. If you’ve decided to try out a Goth party, dig up your black outfit, smear your eyes with loads of mascara, and decorate your arm with a Star of David bracelet. It’s true that Goth’s usually find pentagrams more chic than hexagrams, but that’s because they’re a flock of look-alikes, who fear being different from their fellow Goth’s. Well, it’s about time someone showed them the light of style and positive spirituality. You go girl!
