Last Monday at the CFDA Awards (Council of Fashion Designers of America), Doutzen Kroes, model and blogger for Victoria’s Secret had the honor of presenting Ralph Lauren the 2010 Popular Award, for the second year in a row.
In honor of this, Kroes wrote on her blog, six popular fashion trends for this summer:
Clothes:
White – In all of the store windows you see white. Say, white jeans with a white t-shirt and white blazer.
Cargo Jeans – Some people feel most comfortable when wearing jeans and a T-shirt, Kroes is one such. Cargo Jeans are quite trendy right now.
“They are a fun and feminine take on a rugged look, and are a way to diversify from change from my blue jeans.”
Says Kroes.
Nautical Trend – Perfect for summertime. This year Chloe, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton all showcased nautical styles in their 2010 resort collections.
