MUGI – My Unique Gift Idea

I just checked out the new ShadowBlast and ShineBlast products. Contrary to what you guys expect – knowing what a spiritual gal I am – I do enjoy wearing makeup and I think that I look pretty good in it – not to toot my own horn. Over the years, I have learned the tricks, but I am always on the lookout for products which make it fast and easy to make myself look beautiful.

The ShadowBlast is a two-in-one eyeshadow duo which is designed to make it appear as though your eyes were done by a makeup artist. Just use the round end to cover your bottom lid with color and use the sharper edge along your top eyelash line and in the crease of your eye. It is fast and easy and, I find, looks rather good. I was not a huge fan of the color combination – I would have preferred the brownish color to be a touch darker. I guess I just felt like it was lost in the green.

The ShineBlast lip gloss, however, was to die for. It gives the perfect amount of gloss coverage without that horrible mess that you know you find with the wand-type applicator on other gloss. I don’t know how they do it, though they’ve created a lipgloss wand that keeps the gloss where you want it – that is, neatly in the tube and neatly on your lips.
