With Passover just around the corner, I was looking for an affordable gift for my wonderful Passover dinner hosts. I didn’t really know what to get that would please the entire family. I wanted to find a religious souvenir that would fit the holiday spirit and would also come in handy.

Someone must’ve heard my prayers. I found into this remarkable piece by Esther Shahaf, a famous Israeli designer. I have to admit, I love anything designed by this remarkable artist whose work is both authentic and inspiring.

Shahaf’s set of Candle Holders has literally captured my eyes. The bright colors woven into an Eastern design interact magnificently to bring together Jewish tradition and contemporary art. I am certain that these decorative candle holders will add an extra touch to the Seder table of my hosts. Some gifts just feel right! In case you’re wondering, Shahaf also makes some other beautiful handmade Shabbat Candlesticks in wood, crystal and other materials.
