Dark Blue Copper Mezuzah

Dark Blue Copper MezuzahI’m always surprised when one of my non-Jewish friends asks me about the Mezuzah at my house. I keep taking for granted that everyone in the world knows what a Mezuzah is, so it’s always very funny when they point at that weird thing fixed to the doorpost and ask: “What is that?”. A few too many incidents like thisĀ persuaded me that my Mezuzah needs to be not only holy, but also beautiful, so that those who do not understand it’s meaning can at least enjoy it’s decorative value. This Dark Blue Copper Mezuzah is exactly what I mean. It’s handmade by artist Laly Cohen, using copper, stained glass, brass, semi-precious stones, glass and Swarovski crystals. This impressive Mezuzah will undoubtedly attract the attention of both Jewish and non-Jewish visitors.
