Kashmir is a war-torn region along the Indian-Pakistani border. It has breathtaking landscapes, and people dress there so colorfully. I have read Salman Rushdie‘s book, Shalimar the Clown, which beautifully depicts this troubled land, and I just came across this magnificent slideshow that simple brings to life those images from the book.
