A few months ago I let you in on some personal news that I was about to become an aunt. Well, guess what? The happy day has arrived! I am the proud aunt of a beautiful baby girl named Gili - which means My Joy in Hebrew. After restraining myself for nearly 6 months, I can finally purchase something for the little angel and the most appropriate gift would be this Baby Girl Hamsa. The inscription on the Hamsa is a prayer in Hebrew, blessing the newborn and the parents and protecting them from the evil eye. The antique art style of Michal David gives this piece a very unique and homely quality. A wonderful addition to the baby’s room.
