A study shows that shopping takes up three years of an average woman’s life.
The Daily Mail reports that a OnePoll survey, conducted on 2,000 women in the west, showed that a sixty three-year-old women will spend three years of her life shopping.

Each and every year, women spend one-hundred hours and forty-eight minutes in fashion and beauty stores. So add that to the ninety-four hours and fifty-five minutes that the average woman passes in the grocery store.

Then of course there is the forty-nine hours’ worth of window shopping, the forty hours trying on new shoes (should this not be lumped into fashion?), thirty-six hours picking out gifts, thirty-one hours browsing books, twenty-nine hours checking out accessories, and seventeen hours getting toiletries.

A OnePoll spokesman said that,

“Many men seem to think women only shop when they are buying clothes for themselves. But they quite often shop for the entire family and that can be incredibly hard work.”

I really could not agree more!
