2012 Spring Fashion Trends

January 4th, 2012 · No Comments · Fashion & Style

With 2011 over it’s time to start thinking about the 2012 spring fashions. Knowing the trends before you head out and start buying your spring fashions is essential to looking great and getting a good deal while the holiday sales are still here. Here are some of the trends for spring 2012.

Brighter Colors

Orange, pink and red are some of the hottest colors for this spring. Mixing red, black and white is a classic look that many at fashion week have tried to implement this year. Brighter colored shoes mixed with darker solids is also in this year. Try not to mix and match too many bright colors together or you might look like radiation fallout.

Anoraks

Anoraks are going to be big this year. Anoraks give you a sophisticated look during a rainy day. Anoraks were seen by Tommy Hilfiger, Edun and Jason Wu this year at fashion week. These are great because they fit into the vibe of spring while also keeping you comfortable. Solid colors with your anoraks are recommended to keep you looking great. These also match a variety of shoes.

Bold Prints

Bold prints were some of the biggest draws at fashion week this year. Bolder prints with vibrant patterns and bright colors are in for 2012. Floral and geometric shaped patterns are the best. These are offered by designers like Joseph Altuzarra and Cynthia Rowley.

Orange

As stated before, brighter colors are in this spring. However, orange is the color of the season. Brighter oranges and tangerines are going to be all the rage on red carpets and Hollywood events. This makes for a very easy way to be stylish as you only have to focus on one color and a design that you like. Oranges were the focus of Steven Alan, Doo-Ri and Sophie Thealiet.

Pink Suits

Pink has always made a statement, but 2012 is giving us a new way to be fashionable in our favorite shade. Pink suits are perfect for the country club, office or a night out on the town. Mix your pink suit blazer with a pair of pink shorts and you have a great look with little fuss.
