
The New Year is upon us and it’s time to make some resolutions. Being fashionable is not always about the clothing. Keeping yourself groomed and healthy should be the first line in feeling good about yourself. Here are a few New Year’s resolutions that you should take for 2012.
Pedicures
Spring is just around the corner so it’s time to start making it a habit to get a pedicure at least once every two weeks. Spring is a time for open toed shoes and there is nothing worse than having chipped and cracked toenails with your favorite pumps. Make it a habit to get to your pedicurist every other week to keep your toes looking great.
Updated Wardrobe
The new year is always a great time to go through the clothing that you never wear anymore. Tossing out old jeans, tops that you never wear and other pieces of clothing is essential for maintaining proper closet space. Donate or throw away your older clothing and replace it with some updated tops and pants. You don’t have to be a big spender, but try to get quality clothing that will last.
Accessories
Break your addiction to accessories. It’s all too easy for a girl to obtain crazy amounts of belts, bracelets and necklaces. Accessories have a way of winding up in your jewelry box and then never seeing the light of day. Stop buying accessories that you will never wear and you’ll see a couple extra dollars in your bank account.
Gym
The holidays are some of the worst for gaining weight. One of the biggest resolutions that anybody can make in the New Year is to lose some weight. Join a gym or make it your mission to work out at home for at least 30 minutes a day. Not only will see the weight start to shed, you will feel a lot better about yourself for sticking with your resolution.
Shaving
Shaving is not an option. The last thing that you want is for a guy to see the prickling hairs standing up on your legs and armpits. Get a decent razor and some women’s shaving cream. Make it a point to shave your legs every other day to keep them from growing a forest on your body.
